An eventful start of the journey
I am the Lord Lover Land Rover and my name is Hallelu-Yah!
Not long ago I left Marloth Park on my first journey of my Embathisa Mission. Past Malelane my lungs started wheezing and I had to stop at Viva my favourite rest stop, my turbo air intake pipes were loose and quickly fastened. However the wheezing was still present and we once again had to stop at Milly’s, a big loose clamp on the turbo air intake was discovered! A friendly man driving a Land Rover Defender came to help and he suggested that he will help us to join the Land Rover rescue whatsapp groupππ. As I were smiling again and climbing the hills full throttle on the way to Pretoria, the Embathisa team were elated praising the Lord!
PREPARATION FOR THE JOURNEY
Please allow me to tell you how I came to be called HALLELU-YAH. For the last 3 months the team have been working very hard to completely restore my suspension, bearings, steering box, waterpump, vacuum pump and whatever else was seemed necessary. Then finally the week before leaving the team discovered a diesel leak on the diesel pump, not knowing the reason it seemed serious. Thus started the process to determine the origin of the leak. After a stress headache and serious google research the team fortunately determined it was not as serious, it was the rear oring of the diesel pump. It still needed specialised input. After an intense examination on the high lift, leaving the engine to idle and waiting for the engine to cool down completely before restarting, the Komati mechanic team Conrad and Shane discovered it did not leak anymore! This was a miracle, and we praised the Lord Hallelu-Yah! Now I am HALLELU-YAH ππππ the best name to describe me and my journey!
