THE GARDEN OF OUR HEART

We must be ready in and out of season

In a marriage you are always ready to be in a relationship with your beloved what a privilege You wake up in the morning and you are ready to be in relationship with your loved one, in the middle of the night you wake up and you'll be loved. That is why the Lord compares our special relationship with Him to a marriage. Jesus calls us his bride and He is our Bridegroom. What an absolute blessing! To think that as in our marriage we are always in relationship with the Lord! Our heart is the garden where we spend time with our Beloved, and we should be ready in and out of season meaning guarding the garden of your heart against anger, negative situations. Proverbs 22v4 says GUARD YOUR HEART ABOVE ALL THINGS FOR FROM IT FOR FLOWS ALL THE ISSUES OF LIFE. The Holy Spirit can be grieved if we allow negativity etc. in our heart. Our heart is the garden God gave us where we fellowship with Him. Father God restored the GARDEN OF EDEN with HIS CHILDREN by restoring man from the fall. The blood of the LAMB, OUR SAVIOUR, DELIVERER restored us into fellowship with our Heavenly Father God. Now we can fellowship WITH HIM and our Bridegroom 24/7 as in John 17 where Jesus says ABIDE IN ME …

IN AND OUT OF SEASON

Guard the garden of your heart with jealousy as you do your relationship with your loved one.

GUARDING THE GARDEN OF YOUR HEART IN AND OUT OF SEASON

Throughout the day many things can disturb our HEART, our joy and shalom peace…Do not allow anyone or anything to trample your garden's flowers or through negativity grow weed in your garden!…and do not allow yourself to neglect your garden through not watering the flowers of your heart.

As 2 Corinthians 10 verse 3 to 5 says we need to submit our thoughts, emotions and will to the Word of God every day and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Thankfulness and gratitude waters the flowers and beautify our heart’s garden … Meditating on the Word of God help us pull OUT every weed i.e. imagination and high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God! The bees in our garden bee faithful, bee thankful, bee courteous, bee strong, bee wise, bee glad, bee content bee kind also empowers us to bear the fruit of the Spirit as we allow the LOVE of God to flood the garden of our heart.

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

God plants His love, joy and peace in the garden of our heart through His Spirit in us and as we fellowship and walk with Him in obedience we can continually rejoice in His love, peace and joy.

Then there are 3 fruit in our relationships with people. Fruit we allow through the love of God to manifest in our relationships with people around us Longsuffering, gentleness, goodness. It is something we need to practice allowing the Holy Spirit to take over in our relationships with others, building God's character in us. He becoming more and us less.

The last 3 fruits is within us in the secret place of our heart. we PRACTICE THESE FRUITS IN our walk with God every day living his Word eg.faith trusting God for Phil4v13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Although it is not always visible it becomes part of our character and conscience as we walk in obedience to God's Word.Looking to HIM in faith as in Jeremiah 17 verse 5 to 8 He keeps us, and helps us not to look to circumstances or people in EXPECTATION but TO HIM IN FAITH AND EXPECTATION!

Self discipline/temperance with our body, will and emotions yielding to the Holy Spirit in us continually.

In 1 Corint.9 verse 27 Paul said I discipline, buffet My body bringing it into bondage lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

Humility knowing and acknowledging it is Him and Him alone, nothing of ourselves! Ephesians 2 verse 8 says by grace we are saved through faith; it is not of ourselves: salvation is the gift of God!

May we enjoy our garden today and every day as we rejoice in our covenant relationship with our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelu-Yah!
