Halal and the dilemma

In conversations with Christians regarding halal, it is interesting that the justifications for us as Christians to eat it, we are covered by the blood of Jesus and it has no power over us. But according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:21, this is precisely the problem, Paul exhorts us not to eat food sacrificed to idols, because it contradicts the cup of the Lord, "You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons."
