Blessed by God’s intervention.

The Lord once again protected us and the Landy by allowing a breakdown close to the house. The vacuum pump was leaking at the welsh plug. The general advice was to buy a new vacuum pump, reason being that the pressure could be due to a failed seal within the vacuum pump.

As we ordered the new vacuum pump, we realized it will only arrive in 4 days. We actually felt excited thinking, we will be forced to take a sabbatical because of having no transport. It turned out to be a major blessing and just what we needed as the Lord blessed us with new revelation in His presence.

The info on google as well as the maintenance manual, suggested an engine at TDC (top dead centre) for the installation of the vacuum pump. I were in trepidation, because for me just thinking of how to accomplish it, was major. I decided to take the old vacuum off and then try set the TDC based on the camshaft that will be visible once the vacuum pump is removed. Even that would take some feat as I am working alone, but I were mistaken. The Lord gave me a pleasant surprise! I once again realized we should never underestimate the Lord’s involvement in our daily lives.

I proceeded as planned, and to my surprise the nuts was not under any tension. I could easily remove the vacuum pump, realizing that it is already on TDC! I praised the Lord in thankfulness and amazement of how involved the Lord is on this mission.

We know this mission of covering the lost through God’s love and our prayers is on God’s agenda, and the Landy was a prerequisite to be ready for the journey!
