Once again, I want to relate to the Word in Hebrews 11:1 GW “Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.” This definition of Faith can be related to problem solving process, where the purpose is to overcome the problem, we face. The Bible says in Romans 8:37 GW “The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties.”
However, without the assurance that the problem we face can be overcome, the process of problem solving is due to fail, and that is what the Lord is showing us through the Land Rover restoration process. We willingly undertook the restoration of the Land Rover, because we believe it is possible. This means however that we need not be discourage every time we stumble on an unexpected problem.
One of these unexpected problems is the nuts of the cam shaft is so tight that it seems impossible to undo, but as we, kept our focus on searching for a solution, it happened. We manage to undo the nut, and can now complete the task of replacing a new timing belt.
Faith in the Lord and His ability is very similar, as we place our trust in Him and His ability to do the impossible, our faith in God and His ability is being amplified, every time we see how God intervened in our life’s. The mentioned is demonstrated by a river that flows from a source, it will continue to flow as long as the water is supplied by the source, even if it encounter an obstacle is will temporarily be paused only to continue as enough water is accumulate to overcome the obstacle. As we focus our eyes on Jesus and His ability, we accumulate faith in Him and His ability, the Bible says that Faith comes by reading the Word of God, for through the Word we learn of God and His ability.
With the Land Rover I realized that every time we succeed in one thing we have more confidence to tackle the next restoration process and in the restoration as a whole even though it have not jet manifested as such. Step by step walking in the Light of God’s Word.
